Has anyone read this book by Larry Ullman yet? If so, what do you
think about it? I'm looking for a well-rounded book that covers PHP for e-commerce websites and from what little I've been able to find online, it looks pretty good. Or would you recommend another book?

Does no one see the inherent issues in buying a book about a not-feature-complete version of the language?

I suspect in 2007/8 Larry thought that PHP6 was actually going to be released some time soon, rather than inventing a new roadblock with PHP5.3 - which is what the book now needs re-writing to support? -- Lester Caine - G8HFL ----------------------------- Contact - http://lsces.co.uk/wiki/?page=contact L.S.Caine Electronic Services - http://lsces.co.uk EnquirySolve - http://enquirysolve.com/ Model Engineers Digital Workshop - http://medw.co.uk// Firebird - http://www.firebirdsql.org/index.php
