Out of curiosity, which bc issue blocks the move?The fact that after 5.2.6 we can't set "mbstring.func_overload" PHP_INI_PERDIR anymore, but need to set it for the whole installation (PHP_INI_SYSTEM). Which wasn't even mentioned in the changelog...btw.
