Hi, Hi,
AOP (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aspect-oriented_programming) when used correctly, can make your application really modular. I've seen several implementations but they all require compiling of code beforehand. There is however a PECL extension now (https://github.com/AOP-PHP/AOP) that enable AOP in PHP directly. I was wondering if there are any interests/possibility to include AOP into the PHP core? +1! AOP is very useful when making some safeness or security tools, like tests automation (with contracts for making Design-by-Contract or Contract Driven Testing). It avoids to instrument the code each time, which is a drawn-out/laborious task.I would really like to see this extension in the core. I'm sure that it will be useful for so many people and so many tools (each time you need cross-logic in your application architecture actually).
