But why? Are arguments always valid today? Thanks.
from the previous commits it seems that we had some kind of proc_open build issue and didn't managed to solve it without removing that: http://git.php.net/?p=php-src.git;a=history;f=ext/standard/proc_open.c;h=2041d3481ff389e9b2f17d3073176bfdffb0494a;hb=bd818c0118ba406d82f901d4f97a134727440df4 But is it possible to have PTY support today in PHP? These commits are from 2004, we are in 2013 now. Maybe new solutions are conceivable.
