PHP: The Good, The Bad and the Ugly - A thank you from "just a developer"

Hello everyone, This is the first email that I'm sending to internals, basically because I do not feel that I have the knowledge to make a reasonable contribution to most (or any) of the discussions that take place here. I do, however, spend quite some time reading whats going on. Every team I've worked with had to deal with quite alot of drama during any big project. I guess it's part of the game. The fact that there is no single "product owner" in PHP makes the drama even bigger with PHP. It's the way how people endure and deal with the drama that makes me proud to be part of this community, even if it's just on the sidelines. I doubt if I could stay motivated when having to deal with constant discussions and often unconstructive comments from trolls. But alot of you do, which makes you better people then I. I guess I just want to say: Thank you!. What you are doing for PHP is highly appreciated. Please continue to do so, and know that although most will never let you know, thousands of people appreciate your work every day. With the highest regards, Damien Overeem
