I would've liked it if I could start the vote earlier, but discussion was going really slow (a month up until now). It's for a new feature that gets into 5.6 now, and in a future version it would be a BC break. Btw, I tried doing that last night, but wiki.php.net was unresponsive. Cheers, Andrey.
