The OS is Debian 7.5.
$ uname -a
Linux leviathon 3.2.0-4-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 3.2.57-3+deb7u1 x86_64 GNU/Linux
What I did:
wget http://downloads.php.net/tyrael/php-5.6.0beta4.tar.bz2
tar -jxf php-5.6.0beta4.tar.bz2
cd php-5.6.0beta4/
./configure --prefix=/apps/php/5.6.0beta4
make -j 8
This results in:
