PHP 7 will likely take at least 2 years (I know some think differently, but realistically 7 will not just be phpng and even that has problems), but 5.7 would come out presumably next year. In which case, that means we’d be able to fix the language in just a year and hence make a 5.7 spec with the 5.6 issues fixed. -- Andrea Faulds http://ajf.me/
