Hi Jordi, Iiuc, Leigh's goal, which I support, is to fix known bugs. It is not to provide a better interface. I already suggested that if people want new RNGs or a new API then we should divorce that discussion from the bug fixes. Let's not use this RFC or thread for that. Tom
