If you mean
class Foo {
public function doSomething($a, $b) {}
}
class Bar extends Foo {
public function doSomething($c, $d, $e) {}
}
by "regular old-style inheritance" then no. It would not make sense to
do so in PHP because we don't have multimethod dispatch.
