Hi,
Does PHP4 no longer allow to escape from HTML within an HTML tag? This
obviously would be stricter where SGML/XML is concerned, but should be
listed under 'incompatibilities' on php.net/version4/ as it is a widely
used, if undocumented, feature of php3.
Example:
Code line and results
<A HREF="<? echo $SCRIPT_NAME ?>">go</A>
PHP3: <A HREF="/mypage.php">go</A>
PHP4: <A HREF="">go</A>
So I would now have to write
<? echo '<A HREF="' . $SCRIPT_NAME . '">go</A>' ?>
that right? Or is there some configuration option by which I can tell the
parser to disable adherence to SGML?
Thanks,
Ben
