First try <?php phpinfo(); ?> have you found <? phpinfo(); ?> in the manual???

I am having trouble installing PHP on Windows XP and I am wondering where to get help with it. If
you can't help me then.
The problem is:
When I am trying to show the test.php file (php code: <? phpinfo(); ?> ) it is only
displaying that code. That must mean that PHP is NOT correctly installed. Doesn't it?
How do I install PHP on Windows XP?
