Hello,
I'm writing a book about PHP that will include things that other PHP
books just don't have, like PHP setup on windows with IIS and compiling
PHP with apache, things like that.. This book will have a completely
different view on how a page is being requested and what cookies are, by
showing the http request. In other words - that is the attitude.
I'm planning to finish it by the end of 2002 and find a published
half-way through that.
I want to do something different with the way it's published also -
ideally I want PHP Group to be a co-author, so they can modify anything
once I'll write it, for that I'm willing to give PHP Group like 30% of
the revenue.
Can you please offer this request to the PHP Group?
In other words - if we write a book that happens to be the most popular
PHP book, then PHP Group will have a few dollars to spare and maybe send
to the most active developers.
Please reply with your opinion.
Thanks,
Saveli.
