(Sorry my poor or incorrectly english) I am having a "dork" problem. I made html with a form, put "action=file.php", i put "<input type=text name=bla>, etc... In the PHP code i made, $bla = $HTTP_POST_VARS['bla']; $bla receivied the value. Worked correctly, whitout warnings or erros! But in this code didn't work. file.html <input type=text name="name"> <input type=text name="email"> <textarea name="texts"></textarea> file.php $name = $HTTP_POST_VARS['name']; $email = $HTTP_POST_VARS['email']; $texts = $HTTP_POST_VARS['texts']; Notice: Undefined index: name in C:\billmask\sendmail.php Notice: Undefined index: email in C:\billmask\sendmail.php Notice: Undefined index: texts in C:\billmask\sendmail.php In a file worked fine! But in another file, with the same characteristics and same code, didn't! I found examples in documentation, but can you send me some simple examples with good explanantions to how put in a variable the values of a form. Another doubt! What is the diference between fread and fgets? fputs and fwrite? I hope didn't bothering you with my problens of a beginner! (I am learning PHP to work in this site, www.pinhalonline.com.br/index.php . If i learn i will be a member associated) Thank you since now! Marcelo BM OS PIRATA!!!
