Well, I don't think so, that IFX support is discontinued, but you should add a bug report at http://bugs.php.net/ to be sure, that this problem is fixed as soon
as possible.

Subject: php_ifx.dll
I downloaded php-4.2.2-Win32.zip (for development purposes). Then I unzipped the archive and
proceed to install the newest version. Upon installation, I noticed that the php_ifx.dll is missing
in the extensions directory (Mainly, do to apache throwing a fit because it could find php_ifx.dll).
I then checked the entire folder to see if it exited. To my amazement it is no where in to be found
in the entire php folder. Is this a mistake or is php no longer going to support Informix?
