Rsync woes, is rsync.php.net overloaded?

Hello! During the last couple of weeks we havn't been able to keep our mirror (se.php.net) up to date. Mostly rsync fails to connect at all, the few times it manages to connect it never completes the entire filetransfer, it gets a conection timeout error. Increasing the --timeout option doesn't seem to help. This means we have slipped more and more out of sync. :/ Is there anything we can do at our end to improve the situation?
