Subject: Question about PHP and IIS server
Dear webmaster,
I am a graduate student of RIT. I am doing a project on my own, which uses Access database and
PHP. I've had the code written and database created. But the Web server that I will put php
files does not support Access database so I have to put the database on IIS server. Here the problem
pops out and I couldn't find anybody who can give me any directions of doing this, even the
server guy who is in charge of IIS server has no idea of what to do. So I have to ask for your help.
How could I set up ODBC on IIS? Is it the same as that on local computer? Do I need anything to get
the database and php files work correctly? Because they are on different server how could I make the
connection?
Thank you very much!
Zhen Jiang
