Good Day,
As a bit of feedback, let me share with you an experience I just had
with your site: I wanted to download the PHP source code, so I went to
PHP.net (like many people, I'm naturally aware of your product although
I'm not a frequent visitor of your site). The layout of the page gave me
the natural perception that the left side panel contained all the
important links (a standard paradigm on many webpages, I instinctively
look to the left for headlines like 'screenshots', 'download'). So I
scrolled down looking for "Download'. It wasn't there. Desperately my
eyes sought back up. Then I scanned the right panel. Quickly determined
that that wasn't it either. Looked around in puzzlement until I noticed
the very tiny word "download" in blue letters on a blue background. This
was the path to enlightenment :>
Might I suggest that you either put a link to the downloads page in the
left panel and/or accentuate the menu on the top of your main page
better?
Kind Regards,
Pim van Riezen
