PHP People
It is so satisfying to know that there are PHP people around the world that are passionate about doing useful and convenient things for anyone who happens to come across anything they build. You guys ROCK!
Great discussion about the Google thing, it's a cool idea for sure. I don't really have much useful input, apart from saying that when I search php.net, it's mostly only for function reference (e.g. php.net/date). But when it's for something else, being able to jump to Google with the same search term would be very useful.
HOWEVER, it's actually not what I meant, there was actually an error with the pages, where the search result links went to Google with the web path received as a result of the search, e.g. www.google.com/manual/en/ref.pdf.php instead of www.php.net/manual/en/ref.pdf.php.
But "Nicos" fixed it before you guys looked. :) See attached mail.
He didn't copy webmaster@php.net when he replied so you would never have seen it. :)
But thanks for copying me in on everything, it was great to see other PHP minds at work. :)
Keep on PHP-in'
