hello... I'm making a php based web game, and i need sessions to pass my user
information from page to page. The only problem is that when I start a
session none of my varibles are saved, when i try to call them on other pages
i don't get anything...not an error message, nothing. I'm on a windows XP
home edition platform and I've tried looking in forums and such for a
possible answer and one man suggested i check to see if my save path was
correct. When I looked it up i found this:
; Argument passed to save_handler. In the case of files, this is the path
; where data files are stored. Note: Windows users have to change this
; variable in order to use PHP's session functions.
session.save_path = /tmp
I wouldn't be too concerned about this but it says windows users should
change this to use sessions with php. I have no clue what this means. Do you
have any idea what the problem could be? If you do, is there anything you
suggest i do? Thanks 100%
