ID: 19962 Updated by: goba@php.net Reported By: bmckesson@solidwave.com Status: Bogus Bug Type: Website problem Operating System: Mac OS X, in IE 5.1and NS 7 PHP Version: 4.3.0-pre1 New Comment: Ctrl+S is the right combination as reported by users. I don't have any Macs here to try, so I beleived the W3C standard's statement that on Mac you should use Cmd, but actually as users reported, you should use Ctrl. Previous Comments: ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2002-10-18 03:50:58] sander@php.net Please do not submit the same bug more than once. An existing bug report already describes this very problem. Even if you feel that your issue is somewhat different, the resolution is likely to be the same. Because of this, we hope you add your comments to the original bug instead. Thank you for your interest in PHP. See #19955 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2002-10-17 13:16:28] bmckesson@solidwave.com Visit www.php.net. First paragraph contains "You can hit Alt+S on Microsoft Windows or Cmd+S on Macintosh now to go right to the search box and type your search keyword." Cmd+S is intercepted by IE 5.1 and NS 7 to perform "Save As..." In IE 5.1, Cmd+L is bound to "Change Location" as well. Suggest using different shortcut on macintosh (cmd-? or cmd-/ may be available). ------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Edit this bug report at http://bugs.php.net/?id=19962&edit=1
