Hi,
xitami is probably the worst program you could use to test. I suggest you go
to www.php.net/install and look at the method of installing Apache on
windows.
Thank you for all your interest in PHP.

Subject: Complaint
Dear Sir/Madam,
I have just Purchase Book PHP Essentials from Prima
Publishing.
As written by the Author, I have installed Xitami for Windows.
I have also installed PHP3 from PHp.net.
I also confgured the xitmai.cfg file as told by author.
But when I tested PHP intallation. By creating a file,
test.php and open it on Internet Explorer. I am getting the follwing Error:
[Security Alert! The PHP CGI cannot be accessed directly.
This PHP CGI binary was compiled with force-cgi-redirect
enabled. This means that a page will only be served up if the
REDIRECT_STATUS CGI variable is set, e.g. via an Apache Action directive.
For more information as to why this behaviour exists, see the
manual page for CGI security .
For more information about changing this behaviour or
re-enabling this webserver, consult the installation file that came with
this distribution, or visit the manual page .]
I want to know what can I do to get rid of from this Problem.
I am waiting for your Reply.
Thanking you, Sir.
Yours faithfully,
Sumit Sharma
