PHP idea

I'll be short and to the point. For about a month now I have been requiring a file into each of my php documents which contains all of my predefined functions used in those php documents. My idea is that in the next release of PHP, php its self automatically requires this file [it's path being defined in php.ini]. The name of this file would be a Global Function Library [or .gfl]. The default location for this file would be in the public_html dir on the server.
