MessageI have already thought about this, but this needs some more deep thoughts, and it won't
be implemented before the PHP Conference (next week)... Many of us just make the last preparations

Why don't you also handle download logging with the 404 error handler?
Instead of
http://si.php.net/do_download.php?mr=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.php.net%2F&df=php-4.2.3-Win32.zip
you could link to (for example)
http://www.php.net/get/php-4.2.3-Win32.zip
(why is logging done on a different mirror anyway?)
It gives a much nicer URL which will reduce complaining :)
