[This discussion should begin sometime, anyway...]
I don't think so, that adding such a huge number of French links
is a good idea. I tried to be very restrictive myself on what to
add to this links page, and you have just added some 5 links or
so to the French section. I don't have any problems of course with
French php sites, but as this page gets bigger and bigger, it
becomes
a) hard to maintain
b) useless
Guys viewing that page may have a hard time to navigate, as this is
not a professional links list with search, and real catagorization.
I think so, we should leave some proxy sites on the links section,
which link to the others (like one or two page with French links on
them), so guys can find the "roots" of sites in different countries,
and go there. We at hungary also have more than two sites, you may
imagine, but I have only added the two most important ones, the first
is a news site, the second is that "root" site, I mentioned, with links
to the best Hungarian and international PHP sites... I guess I will
also remove the first one, as it is not updated since a long time...
PHP.net should be a starting point, but I don't think so that it
should contain navigational information to all possible endpoints...
There are simply too many sites, projects, news portals in too many
languages to list... At least this is my point of view...
So I would be happy, if there would be a few sites is French listed,
with more information to access other sites... This is the nature
of the web anyway ;)
