php.net official mirror site requisition

Dear Sir/Madam, We are a web hosting service provider in Malaysia specializing in Linux based hosting, in view of a steady growth of PHP users each year locally, we are seeking the opportunity to be an official php.net mirror site. The official php mirror site will help us to serve the local php users (much quicker download etc.) thus increase brand awareness among local web developers on our services as well as php usage.The nearest php mirror site to Malaysia is in our neighbor Singapore, however from feed back we received from various php users are not too keen on visiting the Singapore mirror , as the international link to Singapore is too congested at times and most of them would rather go through the US main site, which I believe is a burden to the main site, having a local mirror would reduce the load at the main site and increase the response time to locals. We have a colo section in a local datacenter which is not listed in our main web hosting site (dotservant.com, which serves the international clients from a US datacenter), the local colo is mainly serving the locals with off-line marketing efforts, we are planning to up a dedicated server for the purpose of this mirror site should we are awarded the official mirror of php.net.
