Hi!
I wonder, why that error script needs it's own directory? It was added back
in
Dec 1999 by Stig, and chora shows no deleted files in that directory so far,
so
it seems that it may have been part of some plan to put more there, but
evolved
into something, when it is not needed anymore.
Therefore I would like to move that script to /404handler.php or
/urlhandler.php
or /error.php or something to simplify maintanance. We need to keep
/error/index.php for a long time for BC reasons (with only one include to
load in the code from the new script). When all mirrors are updated, we will
be able to remove that dir :)
I cannot see any reason to keep that script there in it's own subdir. BC is
the only consern, which we can keep with a simple include for the time
needed.
