htdig database update, stats update

Hi! I would like to ask about the update frequency of the htdig and stats data. The htdig index does not seem to update itself. It would be nice to automatically know when the site was last indexed (to display to users as a service). Anyway, it would be good to know at least if it gets reindexed automatically in some intervals... The same question arises for the stats, while it is clear that it is not indexed since a half year now... The php.net/stats page displays quite old information, which is somewhat distracting... Thanks for the info, Goba
