Dear Madam or Sir, Before I start, I'd like to say that I am not sure whether this is the right e-mail address or not. However, I hope you'll forward it to the correct persons in case it isn't. My Name is Joerg Battermann, and I've been a php-developer for 2-3 years (beside many other ventures and business, but that’s a different story) and really admire and appreciate the time and effort the php-team has put into this awesome piece of work. What I was wondering is if there is an (official) discussion-forum for php-users. I never really cared about one until recently, but I think it would enhance the communication and enable active knowledge-sharing in a central place between all the thousands of php-users world-wide, and not scatter all the information across a couple hundreds or thousands of sites. I am currently setting up another dedicated server with the sole purpose to serve a global community focused on communication between like-minded. The server itself is powerful enough to handle fast growth, is collocated in the nac / new jersey-colocation facility and therefore has a nice uptime and connectivity. What I wanted to ask after all is what you would think about an –official- php forum? I’d be glad to host the site on my server(s) and keep the things running as smooth as possible. I figure it would come with a great deal of responsibility, but I am more than just willed to do my very best and “serve” the php community. Sincerely yours and thanks in advance, -Joerg Battermann
