Hello,
I realize that more than two mirrors aren't excepted for a particular
country, however I'd like to present some possible options.
New York PHP is one of the largest PHP groups in the US, and we run servers
to support the community. We've recently put a mirror site online, and am
already hosting several mirrors. The server is dedicated and colocated with
professional services in Wall Street in Manhattan. It sits on redundant
gigabit connections with no restriction on bandwidth usage or resource
consumption.
I'd like to offer our services to the PHP Group by running a mirror or other
needed services. We also have rsyncd online, and maybe we could take some of
the strain from your rsyncd for the other mirrors to sync to. Or, if there's
some other resource that'd be valuable, please don't hesitate to request it.
Thank you, and I'm looking forward to helping the PHP Group.
