I have a Mirror set up, I would be happy to be a mirror for you. Country. : Australia xx.php.net address: au4.php.net or auweb.php.net Name: Neil Symons neil@goldweb.com.au CNAME php.goldweb.com.au (Note CNAME Propagating, may take a few hours) No Local searching - at the moment No Local stats - at the moment Hosting Company: Goldweb Internet - http://www.goldweb.com.au/
Thanks for the offer, but we already have three active mirrors in Australia, and all are working quite well. So as far as I can see, there is no need to have one more. I hope you can understan that.
Suggestion: Main Left Panel have a link simply stating "Mirrors" instead of navigating a few pages into site to get mirror, Just in case link too bad for client to navigate easily.
If the mirror site is *so* slow that you cannot get to the mirrors page? We have one link to the mirrors list on all pages at the bottom.
P.S> I have made a mirror.gif, but no documentation to take that button to the hosted company website, it simply makes a link to the mirror (Self)
It only links to the hosting company if you get accepted as an official mirror. We appreciate your offer, but as "the bold text" states on our mirroring page, we would not like to stress our rsync server with too many mirrors, if there are well working mirrors in a country.
