Dear Webmaster:
I'm moving right along here to fifty hours straight SEO campaign. Right now I'm enjoying the last few puffs on my cheap cigar in my small dark <1 bedroom suite here in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. I'm contemplating my ambition.
I started using www.touchgraph the other day and I have not been able to put it down since. I tire of linking to guestbooks rather quickly. In the end the desired results are not what I'm after.
I would like to be listed on your website with the following domains if you will hear out, comprehend and understand my reasoning. I'm a very proactive advocate of Open Source technology and was hooked from my first root login eight years ago. I have succeeded quite well in the last month in bringing two hundred++ websites into the homes of close to 175,000 visitors just from my placement with none of the web pollution that exists on other sites.
As I mentioned I live in Calgary. One of my websites is www.linuxguru.ca and you can google search linux guru if you like. I'm tired of going at this alone. No one quite comprehends what I talk about in my normal job.
Another of my sites is www.workwanted.ca and another is www.calgary.workwanted.ca and so on and so on and so on cannonically. I have recently been looking at what I am up against and that is basically a level of commercialism that I find bewildering briefly. At least enough to spawn this letter.
I started the www.workwanted.ca sites because I was frusterated with my online job search. The sites preform well. Nowhere in comparison yet to the traffic that my portal of www.swingerz.ca sites bring in but none the less www.workwanted.ca and the cannonicals are listed very high and usually number one for queries like Kelowna Job or Fort McMurrary Job.
So then you ask and wonder well so then why does this advocate need our assistance. Simple. I want to introduce via Linux Guru Canada an online development to the global population of a non-commercial community minded job search site that is actively maintained by developers for the population. Admitedly I am focusing mostly on the Western Canadian population but I seem to be collecting resumes from all over the world.
What I am not collecting so far is employers but then I am only one man without a phone here. Niether do I have 1.2 million to drop on an advertising spot during the superbowl like www.monster.com can. The monster is not all that scary anyhow. I've caught the monster in most areas but my goal is to slay the monster and the slew of recruiting sites that monopolize or try to monopolize the what must be lucrative market for data in the form of resumes.
I want a reciprocal link so that I can be tied into your web of sites and benefit from your page rank as an added insurance for my immediate goal. I want the sites to all have a page rank of five and I want them to stay that way. As of last week when you Googled Calgary Job I was Number 2 behind the City and for Calgary Job Search I was number one.
www.linuxguru.ca can be transformed in no time into a better resource for php. I utilize it everyday but still am no guru with it. I code and hack blocks for Post Nuke so I'm almost tied in with PHP Live Support but close just doesn't cut it.
Webmaster, all I want is total control over the Canadain Job Search Market. I want to let the public experience and utilize Open Source PHP in the form of a nuke derivitave. Is that absurd to ask? I think not. I want to become a catalyst for change in the Canadian Economy for the Open Source Movement.
I can and will do it without the help of any link you could position for me towards either www.linuxguru.ca or www.workwanted.ca but as I am so ardently impressing here my goal is to establish a link with www.php.net. I value any thoughts that you may have on my advocacy and my desired method of implementing and utilizing that advocacy to proliferate PHP and Open Source technology. I await your response.
Ardently;
Arden A. Wiebe
