Help on php problems

Hello Sir/Madam, I have something to clarify with you which I cannot figure out why it is like that... I have attached 2 files, list.html and list.php here. Errors is : echo "<br>Engine Range(s)" . $_POST[Engine[0]]; I notice that in php book that it only states echo "<br>Engine Range(s)". $Engine[0]; It does not work if I dont include $_POST[...]; i really dont understand why. Can you please kindly explain above and run 2 files to see the errors???? :( look forward to your favourable reply.
