Have you considered using the "Accept-Language" header sent by the
browser to set the "easy" shortcut? This way a user can go to any php
mirror including the main site and will get the correct shortcut. If he
is not sending the header than it will show him the default shortcut of
that particular mirror.
I believe the user goes to the mirror site in his country for faster
speeds rather than an "easy" shortcut to the manual. In fact most users
would not even know that there would be an easy shortcut to his language
in the local mirror. So I think disabling the language bit on the
php.net site is quite aggressive.
Also, I noticed that the language name on the manual page is in english.
Should we consider writing the same in that individual language itself.
I think there may be ppl out there who wouldn't know their language name
in english. But everyone would know the language name in their language
(obviously!)
