Hi!
Well, it is quite strange that we have not heard from you since half a year, or at least I cannot remember ;)You are [intermedia.com.sg] registered to be the hosting provider of sg2.php.net, which is not updated since 2002. July 12. This is a very long time now, and it seems none of our mails went through to you.We recieved them and have been debating this within the company for some time. we do however apologise for keeping yourselves 'out of the loop' as it were.It seems noone is reading this mail address...actually, about 10 people read this email address, including senior management like myself, we even respond to things too !:)
The speed at which the sync took place was pathetically slow, which probably lends to the possibility that if we wish to in future support the PHP community, that we need to arrange suitable procedures to increase our ability to perform a sync (possibly sync from an intermediate source, as opposed directly from php.net which we apparently do not have an amazing net path to).Well, there are some times, when the rysnc server is hard to access. We have more than a hundred official mirror sites worldwide, and probably a lot more unofficial ones....
we feel that at present we are unable to dedicate the resources both physically and intellectually to providing a service of benefit to the PHP community or to our clients.OK, so then I am deleting your mirror site from our listing, so you won't get any more weekly reminders of the mirror's problems... :) Thanks for supporting PHP so far, and have a better luck in business ;) Goba [one webmaster@php.net]
