Why the translations suck is another question. I think there is too
much to learn to get in (XML, the whole translation system, make test,
etc). :(( So the situation won't get better soon...
In the past I thought about writing a simple web app which would put the
english page up in a frame above or below a frame containing that same
page in a different language in order to make translating an individual
page trivial. A few buttons on the side and some Javascript magic would
allow simple markup as well. I never got around to it though.
No problem. We have a proposal from Sandro Zic, which would probably lead to a much better system.
