Sorry, but I still can't reproduce this. I'm sure I followed all the
steps you provided, but it's not causing any abnormal behavior for me.

this is totally a problem, Andrew look harder next time. Assigning to
goba -- he broke it today. Making it critical because it's got our
search pretty broken.

I cannot reproduce this with the steps you provided. Re-open if you
find more information or a definate cause...

1. Go to www.php.net
2. Type something e.g. "foreach" in search box and select "Whole Site"
for search scope.
3. Submit search... get results.
4. Now type something else in search box, leave scope at default value
(Function List).
5. Submit search... it tries to submit to:-
http://search.php/search.php
Needless to say my browser has a hard time resolving this domain :)
