Hi! One PHP.net visitor reported, that your PHP page is not accessible. I have 'investigated' the problem, and found out that you probably deny deep linking
No, absolutely not. You investigated wrong. I have a very open policy about all information, I also link to competing distributions, and I encourage linking (deep or not) in all forms. I really want the information to be found and to be available. The only thing I don't like are copies on other servers which are not translations into other languages. Now about the issue at hand: This machine is running behind a cable modem connection. I just moved to a new place in the city, and my cable provider messed up, they lost my notice of address change. This caused several days without IP connectivity. During the first few days, I had to put up that notice using the DynDNS offline http redirect feature to redirect users to a page containing a short explanation. That is what you saw, and I wonder how you come to the conclusion about deep linking from that short notice. The problem is how DynDNS puts together the redirection URL. They append the original path to the new location, and that won't work. But anyway, since then, I took the server to work and put it in my company's data center, and it is now again available for the public... I also realized in the past few months that a lot of people seem to be relying on this information (I usually only hear about it when I have some connectivity problems). So I am currently looking into more reliable setups with fixed IP addresses etc.

Thanks for your fine work, and for linking to my page :-) Cheers from Switzerland -Marc _________________________________________________________________
