Hi Enzo! I don't seem to understand, what you have found about any change of the behaviour of the 'global' reserved word. Can you please explain this to me? Goba Enzo Patrussi írta:
Arezzo 4 maggio 2003 I loved PHP till the first moment I made its acquaintance two years ago and i have made some code absolutely simple and functional with it. I have esteemed a lot all the persons who have contributed to its development and i have recommended all my friends or web designers of my acquaintance to use it and lose all other languages for dinamic web pages. Now i have read and verified the new behaviour of an important and very used reserved word 'global' and i have to reconsider all my beliefs about all the PHP world. "How can a development staff of a so important project heavily used all over the world determine to change the behaviour of a reserved word?" i ask to myself and not rather to train all the improvised and hopeless amateurs disseminators of the lots of free bad-formed PHP propagated in the web how to use it and all the consequences of its bad usage? Now i have to consider if to adopt another language, or to revise lots and lots of code or not to migrate to a revision over the 4.0.5 loosing all the new features.... its a quite difficult decision caused by a bad decision ;-) Enzo, a disappointed PHP user...
