Hi,
First off, long time user - first time contact. Great site, great
interpreter & great PHP. Your site is an invaluable resource to me and many
others.. hence the reason for this email.
While browsing your site today, I noticed that someone has posted a somewhat
fudged JavaScript script for Mac users (IE and Safari). It should read
(minus the text wrap of course):
javascript:void(q=prompt('Enter%20text%20to%20search%20PHP.net.',''));if(q)v
oid(location.href='http://www.php.net/search.php?show=manual&pattern='+escap
e(q))
Hope that helps.. it can be adapted to search the entire site or other
sections by modifying the 'show' variable to 'wholesite or whatever.
Cheers,
Sasha
