Hi,
Currently what I've got going is mnogosearch setup using FreeBSD ports
(www/mnogosearch) on my development server at home. The database DSN
details are in the apache configfile which makes it easier for each
mirror to set their settings in one location rather than having everyone
have the same username / password and database names for example.

# The next lines are only necessary if you would
# like to provide local search support (see below) using
# mnogosearch.
SetEnv MNOGO_DATABASE_DSN
"mysql://nobody:pAsSwOrD@localhost/phpsearch/"

If there is a problem with me commiting the initial msearch.php that we
can start working from, please let me know. I was also thinking of
doing something like:
/* Number of results per page */
define ('RESULTS_PER_PAGE', '10');
so that if need be we can change the default settings for number of
results on the page in one location which I think would make things
easier if "user servicable parts" are near the top of the file, if that
makes any sense.
Are we going to make use of a "spelling checker" to correct spelling
mistakes or should we not worry about spelling correction at all? I'd
prob go for the option of not checking for spelling mistakes as ispell
has a nasty habit of "running away" when doing spell checking. It also
makes setting up the search a little easier not having the spell
checking.
If there is any problems with me commiting the initial msearch.php file
let me know.
Regards
