Better results?
Does google provide ANY results on the mirrors?
We had a long discussion here with shimi and said that this will change
in at least a month before google shows up results from mirrors.
You can check it you go to www.google.com and search for:
Sybase site:hu.php.net
Sybase site:www.php.net
The hu results will be 4-5 while the www will be 429...
So yes htdig does give better search results.
The problem is that with www.php.net not providing any search results, it would redirect to ch.php.net, and we have no reply from the maintainer so far if they would accept that load. James said that ch.php.net would probbaly be down on it's knees very fast.
BTW all searches are done now on www.php.net to prevent the problem you mention. And then www.php.net redirects users to mirror sites in case of high load.
