Since our trusty old use-for-anything server died permanently a couple of days ago I moved our php mirror to a new box.
The new box runs Apache 2.0.46 and PHP 4.3.2
Everything went fine except that the downloads stopped working.
When requesting the url
http://se.php.net/get/php-4.3.2.tar.gz/from/this/mirror
the server returns a 404 status code instead of 302 as expected when header ("Location: ...") is called in do-download.inc.
This causes Mozilla to display a blank page, and IE to throw up one of those homebrew 404 messages.
I've tried adding an extra header ('HTTP/1.1 302 Found', 1, 302) line but it didn't help.
Does anyone have a clue on what went wrong?
I have heard about some rumors that there are / were bugs with header() calls. I don't know what's the current situation. You can probably find something in the bug database. Or if not, you can submit one new bug ;)
