I have tried using some of the tutorials and sample code available on my apache server. The problem i am having is that when a value is passed from my html form to be used by php it comes up on the browser as undefined variable. the html file contains something like <input type="text" name="name"> and to use it in php im just doing this $name. Php is setup because print and echo methods work as well as phpinfo(). Could this be to do with my configuration or modules i have installed, or is my code for this incorrect.
The handling of form varibales changed in PHP 4.1.0. Please read http://php.net/globals [the warning in the box], and follow the links there to get more information. Goba
