Hi Carlos!
We have the IP Address 196.40.18.x, we are located in Costa Rica, but when we try to use your search engine at your site (www.php.net), we are redirected to "cr2.php.net". This is a slow server in Costa Rica, we like to use the same server www.php.net (this is very fast server). There's a way to change this option on your website or is configure on your systems? You can pick any other mirror site at http://php.net/mirrors.php and use that one. Only www.php.net uses the redirection code currently. There are probably plenty of other speedy mirrors around the globe.
Also we are a WebHosting Company, with a DATA CENTER in Costa Rica (www.cyberfuel.com and www.serverslodge.com), if you need good speed to connect your website, you can contact me directly to put a server on our facilities. If you are willing to set up a mirror site, the cr.php.net name is free to take. See http://php.net/mirroring.php for more information. Thanks for your interest, Gabor Hojtsy [one webmaster@php.net]
