To whom it may concern:
I want to know if we can subscribe a new mirror located at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) here in Mexico city.
I found that you already have registered two mirrrors but also found countries which have three of them. Can we be added to the mirrors
list?. It happens that we set up an ftp/http mirror of your site before notice that you are only accepting two active official mirrors, anyway,
we send to you the details of our mirror.
- updates will be via rsync as follows (i made once just to check the ftp server configuration but i am not doing update-checks by now. I have a temporary ip address to access the ftp server but surely it will change):
rsync -avzC --timeout=600 --delete --delete-after \
rsync.php.net::phpweb /home/MIRROR/pub/PHP
Update checks are configured to run mirroring software at 2:00 am every day considering -6 hours GMT
- also set up apache web server (accordingly with the configuration example on www.php.net) to list the mirror via www.php.unam.mx.
- location address: UNAM - Mexico city
- contact email address: mirrors@servidores.unam.mx
- do you have some specific text to display as a welcome message for your mirror?
Thanks
