I have been trying to find the info I need on how to check the following...
That the PHP install is functioning, yet no FAQ on that
That the PHP install is configured as the actual Help does not mention anything more than the
installer setup the software and a file needs to be edited... Not much Help ther
I installed the PHP in conjunction with the web server vendoes settings (Abyss X1) and the web
server is functioning, should their have been an error, I would have had an error returned...
The only thing holding me up is the lack of useable support, yes thankyou for pointing me to a
german site, no good to me, yes thankyou for raising my hope that their was some form of user group
and yes I have looked in the FAQ and cant find anything that answereing my problems
NO I DONT HAVE LINUX which is all your site seems to be geared for, IM unfortunate to be stuck with
Windows, and lack of help in that area is the FAQ concerning Windows is annoying me and as with most
tech stuff, the Help is written in a way that the beginner cant follow, your like most of the other
tech sites that assume that the user has prior knowledge, why make things difficult to achieve?
Simplicity rules...4 me at least.
I suggest the following.
CLEARLY define areas, eg Windows, Linux etc and not intermingle the various formats.
YOU ARE PHP, Perhaps you should put it to use a bit more by building a knowledge base or running a
tech help message board that uses PHP and then you might beable to tell me how to set one up...
