Hello! If I could have a moment of your time, I would like to make a suggest, or ask for permission
to make this. I was recently thinking about Microsoft's .NET Passport system, and was actually
thinking of making an "add-on", or so to say, to PHP to have it's own Passport system
(not related to Microsoft's .NET Passport or be anyway associated with them). I thought this
would be quite impossible without you, the PHP administers, to allow such a thing. For a while I
thought about making it a simple thing like a global user database with a global cookie type of
system to track it. A programmer would check a certain cookie (which would be md5 hashes with
several other variables), then connect to the database on the passport server and verify that it
exists. This would allow a user to login once, then be able to login to any game, business, etc.
that puts in a simple passport coding. It would pretty much act like a session, but work globally.
If you could reply with what you think
about this, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you for your time.
