Hi Daniel! We have some rules on accepting new mirror proposals. We actually won't accept mirrors in countries where we already have two active mirrors. There are some exceptions, where we have more mirrors (eg. US), but as far as I have seen there is not much need for another mirror in the US. Regarding the other question on contributing some hardware or services, please contact systems@php.net Thanks for your offer, Goba
PHP.net Mirror Staff, I would really like to become a mirror for php.net. I own a dedicated server in Housten, Texas. I do not cram my servers so most of my usage is very low so you can experience fast load times because of the the connection and becasue ther server isn't to busy. You do not even have to add any buttons to the site, as I am an avid PHP programmer and I just want to contribute in any way I can. I am producing a product at MerlinPanel.com which is made entirely out of php/mysql code. I wouldnt' trust any other programming language for the job. If you can let me become a mirror I would be glad, if not, please send me inforamation on any other ways I can help, possibly hosting a backup rsync server of sorts. Anything I can do to contribute my part in the words best online dynamic programming language. Thank you for your time and keep up the good work!
