I run a web design and hosting business, and have been a PHP fan (and avid
user professionally) for several years. I am in the process of adding a
fresh, brand new server to my hosting co-location, and would like to provide
a PHP mirror on this server. I will be implementing VPS (Virtual Private
Server) on this new server, so the PHP mirror would have its own virtual OS
installation and could be configured to whatever was needed without
affecting any other customer sites on the server cluster.
However, I understand that you all have decided to limit the number of
mirrors per country to 2, and the US already has 4 mirrors.
I am simply offering that I would like to be a mirror, here in the US, if
you all decide you would like to have that. So I guess, put me on a waiting
list. I will be happy to do so if the need/desire ever arises on your part.
